Programs
Children from 2 ½
years of age through 5 will encounter a varied group of class
opportunities to enrich their learning here at Queen of Angels Elementary
School.
The Queen of Angels Bridge Program
For children turning 3 years old after September 1st of the school year in which they are enrolling.
Is your child interested in engaging other children and new
adults? Is your child a social butterfly
or more slowly coming out of her or his shell?
Queen of Angels Bridge Program may be the introduction to school
routines and experiences that you are seeking.
The classes meet twice each week; on Tuesday and Thursday or on
Wednesday and Friday. There is flexible
drop off time between 8:05 and 9 a.m.
The dismissal time is at 11 a.m.
Queen of Angels Preschool Program
For children 3 years
old on or before September 1st of the school year in which they are enrolling.
Both half day and full day sessions are available for
preschoolers. There is also a choice
between a 3 day and 5 day program, with the 3 day option in both half and full
day meeting on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
The half day sessions meet from 8:05 a.m. until 11:00
a.m. The full day sessions meet from
8:05 a.m. until 2:55 p.m.
Queen of Angels Prekindergarten Program
For children who turn 4 1/2 years old, or 5 years old who missed the September 1st cutoff for kindergarten, of the school year in which they are being enrolled with a choice of
5 half or full days of school each week.
PreK is an opportunity for children to engage in projects
and listening experiences that require longer periods of skills for young
children. Our program strives to attain the
following goals: attention and understanding 5 days each week.
Queen of Angels offers programs that are designed to develop a solid foundation for social and academic skills for young children. Our program strives to attain the following goals:
